Redefining the Patient-Physician Relationship
Redefining the Patient-Physician Relationship
For over a decade, he cared for a large and medically underserved population in northern North Dakota, where limited access to specialists provided him the opportunity to manage a wide spectrum of challenging cases. He witnessed first hand in several clinics how long wait times, rushed visits, and insurance driven constraints can leave patients feeling unheard and underserved.
Now based in Iowa with his wife Kristy and their three children, Dr. Stanga has joined the movement of direct specialty care which restores the patient-physician relationship to the center of attention. Frustrated by the depersonalized, rushed model of modern healthcare, together they created Allergenix which aims to provide a higher standard where patients are no longer a number, visits are never hurried, and every person is valued.
